Responsibilities:

• Project Engineering Team Leader, the incumbent shall be responsible for:
• Providing project support in planning, organization and supervision for construction and installation of pipeline and related subsea facilities, ensuring work is performed in compliance with Hess EHS and quality requirements, in accordance with the project execution plan, within budget and on schedule.
• providing pipeline engineering discipline support to the project team ensuring the work is preformed in compliance with Hess EHS and quality requirements, in accordance with the project design basis, within budget and on schedule.
• Providing assistance with communication of project activities to government and community parties; and providing input to new development scenarios and development options for exploitation.

Job Hiring Requirements:

• University graduate in a related engineering discipline (preferably mechanical or civil)
• with a minimum of 6 years relevant pipeline engineering and installation experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in construction and installation of pipeline system preferably with an Offshore Installation Contractor.
• Good command of the English language and effective communicator in English.
• Must have thorough understanding of contract development and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Full understanding of the implications of planned actions
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• Ability to work in a multi discipline team environment and take responsibility for a defined area
• Able to set internal procedures and controls
• Mobility to visit construction and operating sites as well as spending time offshore during installation phases.
